Boris Schneider-Johne, Senior Product Manager bei Microsoft Deutschland, hat die neuen Featrures des Xbox 360 Sommer-Updates angekündigt.
Hier alle neuen Features, die Boris Schneider-Johne in seinem Blog ankündigt. Die wichtigsten dürften wohl die Einfürhung der "Indie Games" in Deutschland und das Downloaden von Xbox 360-Spielen sein:

- Facebook, Twitter und Last.fm werden erst im Herbst durch kleinere Updates nachgereicht.

- Avatare können jetzt auch mit Requisiten ausgestattet werden. Außerdem können Kleidung und Requisisten als Achievements in Spielen bereitgestellt werden.

- Marktplatzinhalte können von Nutzern bewertet werden (1 bis 5 Sterne).

- Xbox Live Parties-Funktion wurde technisch überarbeitet: Einfacher, übersichtlicher, keine Verbindungsabbrüche

- Automatische Auflösungserkennung bei HDMI-Displays kann abgeschaltet werden.

- Gamercard zeigt, wie lange man schon bei Xbox Live registriert ist. Gamerscore-Menüs wurden erneuert und vereinfacht.

- Xbox Live-Kontoverwaltung wurde verbessert. Frühere Benachrichtigung bei auslaufenden Gold-Abos. Gamertag kann neuer Windows Live ID zugeordnet werden.

- „Communitiy Games“ werden in „Indie Games“ umbenannt und kommen demnächst auch nach Deutschland.

- Xbox 360-Spiele werden auch zum Download angeboten.

Ein genauer Termin für das Sommer-Update steht noch nicht fest.
